I know that there are many universal questions that all people ask. The question that I feel I can even talk about right now is love and happiness. Love is a feeling that we all have at one time or another. It causes us to be extremely attracted to someone and due to this attraction we can become rather illogical. But the question of love's existence is not what I am questiong but rather the concept of true love.

True love is the topic of movies, books, TV, and all other forms of media but does it truly exist. How many marriages have you known to last forever? I myself have not seen the so-called perfect relationship that true love implies. I know some beautiful couples who seem to have good relationships but I have also seen some of theses relationships fail at some point or another. Is it that we were never intended for such things or is it that we just are a people that give up the fight that causes all our relationships to fail? Or is it that we do not find the person that is our soul mate and settle for second best?

I am a firm believer in the soulmate system but the true trouble with that system is that we can never truly be sure who is our soulmate. Is it all guaged on the connection you feel with the person? If it is gauged that way what if you feel a better connection with someone else then does that mean that the person you chose was wrong? So the only case in that true love exists would be the one that you have found your soulmate which I believe is close to impossible.

I ask anyone who can prove to me they have found an example of true love to contact me.

Happiness... I very hard subject to contend with due to the fact that every person views it differently. My view of happiness would differ from yours. But can everything in your life keep you truly happy where there is nothing you would change? Everyones life sucks at one point or another and some people's lives hit such a low point that they commit suicide. So happiness that is true is impossible. It is impossible to accomplish yet we all somehow seek it.

The search of happiness leads to feelings that are quite the opposite of happiness. So then we must all then learn to be content with what we have. But if true love is somehow accomplishable then why isn't true happiness? Shouldn't the two run hand in hand with one another? Or due to the impossiblity of one shall both of them be labeled invalid? Without true happiness, true love ultimately cannot exist since one of the two people would be discontent with something in their lives one of which may be their boy/girlfriend.

I do try to continue to believe in both but I am starting to have my doubts.-Swordman

Please Comment and leave your thoughts. Also present any evidence you believe supports either true love or happiness.

Thanks for the favs! And sorry for being so late on the requests too. Really. I'll make it up to you though. I'm going to download photoshop to color something for an anime con contest, and I'll color the rest of your requests in with it. How's that sound?
